Introducing the College of Nursing
Since its establishment in 2012, the College of Nursing at Chungbuk National University has been committed to cultivating highly skilled nursing professionals who contribute to the advancement of human health and well-being. In 2015, the graduate school was launched, offering comprehensive master’s and doctoral programs, and in 2021, a specialized track in Infection Control Nursing was introduced to further strengthen the master’s curriculum.
To support cutting-edge research, the Nursing Science Research Institute was founded, creating a vibrant environment for academic and clinical inquiry. The college was also selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Nursing College Clinical Training Support Project, leading to the establishment of the NOVA APERIO Simulation Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to train clinical experts with advanced practical competencies.
In addition, the college actively pursues international exchange and collaboration, preparing its students to become globally competent nursing leaders ready to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
